Reginald L. Grant
Currently a Business Consultant and Educator - teaching English in a Los Angeles area inner-city high school, he also works with several youth related charities. Mr. Grant was formerly the cofounder and Executive Vice President of Electronic Playbook, Inc. - ePlaybook, which under his direction was a Finalist for the Start Up of the Year Award in 1999, presented by the San Diego Software and Internet Council. Mr. Grant served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Nisus Software, Inc. and has 20 plus years of sales and marketing experience, with 8 years in technology. Mr. Grant also played professionally for the New York Jets, NFL, and in the CFL. An avid golfer he has contacts in the sports industry with professional athletes, coaches and sport experts.
Mr. Grant understands the athletic arena, he earned his college education on a football scholarship while attending the University of Oregon . During his stay at Oregon, he was a three-year starting cornerback and kick returner. He showed enough promise to be drafted and make the New York Jets in the NFL and he played for the Ottawa Rough Riders in the Canadian Football League.
For the past 20 plus years, Mr. Grant has been a Southern California-based marketing, training, and consulting professional. For the past three years he has been focused on sports and its connection to education, training and motivation. The prior 8 years, his focus was on marketing and developing technology with software firms, Internet service providers, and development of company web sites. Mr. Grant's positive attitude and personal philosophy are contagious. His energy, determination, and knowledge have made him an industry leader and innovator. Mr. Grant is also the publisher of Afrogolf.com, the Internet "ezine" (Internet magazine) which focuses on the African-American golfing community. Mr. Grant has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications and grew up in beautiful Seattle, Washington.Organizational Memberships
