Mike McCormack Hall of Fame, he became head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles after Browns' career an offensive right tackle for eight years from 1955 through 1962 Harland Svare- Former NFL GM and Head Coach San Diego Chargers, NFL Champion player with the New York Giants in the 50s. Lew Carpenter Former Head Coach of the Greenbay Packers also played for the Packers, Browns and Lions. Bill Austin former NFL player and coach, having played for the New York Giants for 7 seasons (1949-50, 1953-57) and served as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1966 to 1968.He played college football for Oregon State Univesity. George Dickerson Long time NFL assistant coach. Don Doll Also coached the USC Trojans in 1957 and 1958. He was a four time pro bowl player (1950-1953) who played for the Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams. Doll played college football at the University of Southern California where he was all Pac 10 conference in 1948. Gary Huff He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1982. When Vince Lombardi returned to coach football in 1969, Huff returned to the Redskins as a player-coach for two seasons. a former American football linebacker who played for the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins after earning All-America honors at West Virginia University. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1982. Long considered one of the most physical defensive players in the annals of NFL history, Huff ended his professional career with 30 interceptions, hauling in at least one interception during each season he played. Huff would be featured on the November 30, 1959 edition of Time Magazine, and was also the subject of an October 31, 1960 CBS special, "The Violent World of Sam Huff." |
